Mindex is looking for an experienced Training & Onboarding Specialist to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences for customers across our K–12 product suite, including SchoolTool, Advanced Analytics, Mindex Integration Platform, ClearTrack, and MTSS Edge.

As a key member of a cross-functional implementation team, you’ll work closely with customers and internal partners to ensure training supports project goals, product configurations, and district workflows. You’ll also provide ongoing education through instructor-led training, certification programs, and learning resources that help customers strengthen their skills, adopt new features, and get the most value from our products.

Compensation

$60,000 - $90,000

What You'll Accomplish
  • Serves as the team representative for implementing districts, partnering with customers and internal teams to develop and execute configuration and training aligned to district workflows, onboarding objectives, and product adoption goals.  
  • Facilitates and adapts training in a variety of formats, including virtual and on-site instruction, webinars, workshops, and one-on-one coaching, to meet customer needs. 
  • Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in designated product areas by maintaining expertise in product functionality, updates, releases, and evolving customer workflows and provides guidance to customers and internal teams. 
  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop and maintain training materials, onboarding guides, presentations, videos, quick reference resources, and customer-facing documentation. 
  • Partners with Strategic Account Managers to analyze customer feedback, support trends, and implementation challenges to identify opportunities for improved education, enablement, and product adoption.  
  • Assists with customer education initiatives, including user groups, workshops, webinars, conferences, certification programs, and other learning events. 
  • Mentors new team members by providing coaching, sharing best practices, supporting complex customer engagements, and contributing to team capability development.  
  • Contributes to departmental objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • Demonstrates an AI-first mindset by effectively leveraging AI-assisted tools and technologies to enhance productivity, accelerate problem-solving, improve quality, automate routine tasks, and drive innovation in the delivery of solutions and services. 

Requirements
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset with exceptional relationship-building, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt training and communication approaches based on customer needs, learning styles, and organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with learning technologies, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and webinar platforms preferred. 
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in the ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies while protecting confidential, customer, and company information.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging AI capabilities, tools, and best practices and proactively identifies opportunities to apply them in the workplace. 
  • Identifies opportunities to use AI to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and increase business value.
  • Uses AI to augment expertise and decision-making while maintaining ownership, accountability, and professional judgment for final work products and outcomes. 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation support, training delivery, customer success, or related experience.
  • Experience within K-12 education, including special education, SaaS, or software implementation environments preferred.
  • Product training or instructional experience preferred.
