The Opportunity
MetLife's Global Procurement team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Liaison with experience implementing Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solutions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the TPRM governance team and the Corporate Systems Application Development team to ensure our TPRM technologies meet the needs of the program and drive efficiencies across the enterprise. This role requires a strong functional understanding of Third Party Risk Management and a working knowledge of cloud-hosted SaaS solutions, system integrations, application security concepts, and data analytics.
This role will be part of MetLife's Global Procurement Systems team. While the focus will be on TPRM technologies, the team will collaborate to ensure all Procurement systems are working together to support an optimal end-to-end process. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly to the changing business environment and be responsible for developing partnerships with team members in the Procurement Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Category Management teams. This position requires a flexible mindset with sound business judgment and an open willingness to support organizational objectives.
Principle Responsibilities
Technology Liaison for Third Party Risk Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for enablement of technologies that meet the needs of the Global TPRM Program
  • Partner with TPRM program owners and risk partners to document requirements and prioritize system changes
  • Working closely with supplier support teams and MetLife technology partners, coordinate the implementation of new solutions and system enhancements
  • Utilizing subject matter expertise and input from team members, recommend solutions that provide the best possible experience across the end-to-end Procurement experience
  • Collaborate with Procurement Data Analytics team to optimize data quality and deliver reporting that meets business needs
  • Manage the relationships with key Third Party Risk Management technology suppliers


Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in technology, procurement, risk management, or related fields
  • 8+ years of experience leading people/projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Third Party Risk Management and Procurement processes and technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data for reporting purposes
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives independently
