We are looking for a Sr Technology Consulting professional.
The person in this role will have a currently active MPO TOP SECRET/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance as issued by the U.S. Federal Government.
The Sr Technology Consultant uses business, industry, and technology strategies to map customer/partner requirements to the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions.
In this role, you will:
Engage others appropriately to understand and define customer requirements.
Communicate the business value of planned solutions to customers/ partners.
Identify technical and business risks in programs and proposes mitigations.
Act as an ambassador in the consumption of intellectual property (IP) by leveraging and/or modifying existing IP or creating repeatable content where applicable.
Improve Managed Standard Offerings (MSO) quality and collaborates with portfolio and solution teams of the domain by providing feedback.
Identify opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of the cloud and Microsoft technologies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the pre-sale process by understanding business requirements and providing industry and technical input and/or solution offerings to help shape the deal. Supports drafting proposals and/or statement of work (SOW).
Provide input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery to Resource Deployment, Technical Delivery Managers (TDMs), and/or Project Managers. Facilitate, as appropriate, other team members to scale the business with existing customers by articulating value propositions of strategic Microsoft products and services and developing new offerings for the domain.

Responsibilities
Maintain tools with up-to-date skills and availability.
Communicate the business value of planned solutions to customers/ partners. Identifies technical, business, and security risks in programs and proposes mitigations.
Assist project managers/architects in preparing for steering committee (e.g., developing artifacts).
Manage their schedule and communicates with project leads. Generates and delivers Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Share lessons learned with workgroup and consultant community.
Align solutions with the intent of the architecture.
Use business, industry, security, and technology strategies to map customer/partner requirements to the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions.
Engage others (e.g., EAG Security stakeholders) appropriately to understand and define customer requirements, ensuring security is prioritized.
Facilitate, as appropriate, other team members to scale the business with existing customers by articulating value propositions of strategic Microsoft product, including security to facilitate trust in the services, and developing new offerings for the domain.
Drive innovation and digital transformation.
Ensure the use of the existing intellectual property (IP).
Intellectual Property Management
Provide feedback on Managed IP for continuous improvement, reports IP gaps, review IP to be considered for harvesting and curation and ensure it is logged for consumption.
Improve Industry Solutions offerings quality and collaborate with portfolio and solution teams by providing feedback.
Follow Microsoft policies, compliance, and procedures (e.g., Enterprise Services Authorization Policy, Standards of Business Conduct, labor logging, expenses, travel guidelines).
Lead by example and guides team members on operational tasks, readiness, and compliance.
Support drafting proposals and/or statement of work (SOW).
Lead or participate in relevant technical communities and conduct training sessions to evangelize technology and/or offerings based on availability. Mentor team members and act as a technical advisor for stakeholders by providing thought leadership, articulation of solutions value, and outcomes of business strategies.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Technology Consulting IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,800 - $193,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $126,100 - $207,600 per year.

Skills Required
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI based on SSBI and Polygraph
- U.S. citizenship and ability to verify citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years leadership experience in a relevant area of business OR equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements pre-offer and post-hire
- Pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years
- 5+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business
- Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics)
- Delivery management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Project Management)
