This job executes recruitment strategies and full life cycle recruiting activities for all assigned positions. Reviews and evaluates job openings and partners with hiring managers to determine candidate interview approach while also facilitating meetings with Regional HRBP(s), hiring leaders and Workforce Development partners to understand and satisfy recruiting needs. Collaborates with the Career Center by assisting Career Coaches with identifying job opportunities for incumbents.

Education

Required – Bachelor’s degree.

High School diploma plus an additional 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Work Experience

Required  4 years of experience in full life cycle recruitment.

Preferred - IS/IT recruitment experience

Certifications

Preferred – Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

  • Ability to maintain effectiveness amid distractions as well as objective under pressure.

  • Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with other members of Human Resources team.

Job Duties

  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies to support business strategies.

  • Executes full life cycle recruiting activities for all positions in assigned area including critical and hard-to-fill roles.

  • Serves as training partner for TA across the system.

  • Collaborates with Workforce Development as primary point of contact for program recruitment.

  • Collaborates with and assists Career Coaches by helping identify opportunities for incumbents.

  • Identifies and attends local career fairs and community and college events to attract applicants.

  • Attends area meetings and events.

  • Provides HR compliance by enforcing recruitment policies, programs and implementation approaches.

  • Maintains positive business relationships with area leaders as well as HR Departments.

  • Supports and participates in corporate HR internal projects.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
