Job Description SummaryThe Sr. Technical Project Manager is reporting to the Hydro Power DT D&A, AI & Commercial Program Director. In this role he/she will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of technical projects to deliver high-quality results for internal and/or external clients. Key responsibilities include gathering and providing requirements, establishing technical and functional specifications, and overseeing creation, testing, and deployment phases to ensure project success. The Sr. Technical Project Manager will coordinate with the Hydro Power Architect to build and validate the solution architecture prior implementation as per the organization process. The projects will be identified and prioritized with the people leader, aligned to the roadmap. Projects scope could be as diverse as technology or platform migration on the D&A field or with Salesforce platforms, as new Generative AI projects coordination.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities Works independently while collaborating with all other team roles, ensuring the project meets organizational standards and client needs. This role involves the following tasks:
  • Communicate with internal clients and product managers to understand internal client needs and timelines.
  • Convert the internal customer needs into technical requirements.
  • Collaborates with architecture, development, and business testing teams to coordinate work across functions.
  • Ensure releases meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  • Works with other team members and provides domain expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during test cycles, as well as during and after project deployment into production.
  • Demonstrates a growing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Stays informed of industry trends and demonstrates domain expertise.
  • Demonstrates the ability to influence clients and product managers through persuasion and influence.
  • Lead regular project reviews with the project team (frequency as needed).
 Basic Qualifications This role requires advanced-level experience in program management. Level of academic knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.Essential responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with businesses, functional partners, and technology leaders to define requirements.
  • Encourages discussions and strategies related to technology that are adapted to business needs.
  • Defines the plan and execution approach based on project scope, expected timeline, and available budget/resources.
  • Facilitates the convergence of functional and technical knowledge and builds project teams.
  • Manages external vendors as needed.
  • Ensures adherence to predefined project management processes and practices. Promotes simplification and improvement when necessary.
  • Supports the execution team in resolving obstacles and interdependencies. Collaborates with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed according to requirements.
  • Manages project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the project.
  • Manages status reporting and communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensures the quality of deliverables is verified and meets stakeholder expectations.
  • Tracks project outcomes and customer satisfaction by comparing established metrics to service levels. Ensures lessons learned are captured.
  • Demonstrates how our technology solves our clients' problems from a technological and business perspective.
  • Experience in client engagement to facilitate requirements gathering.
  • Ability to solve problems and estimate time for development tasks.
  • Shows initiative in exploring alternative technologies and approaches to solve problems.
  • Ability to analyze the impact of technological choices.
  • Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.
  • Able to work well with global teams and demonstrate flexibility regarding time zones.
  • Ensures understanding of issues and presents a clear rationale.
  • Continuously evaluates their own deliverables and the team's deliverables against planned commitments.

  • 5 to 8 years of experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Gen AI technology and exposure to the technology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean concepts and application (root cause analysis, waste identification…).
  • Experience in a project manager role in SFDC and D&A
  • Project Methodology and IT domain knowledge: “agile”, “waterfall”
Business Acumen:
  • Able to understand at least one business functions process.• Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes.
Leadership:
• Demonstrated ability to work in an international, multi-cultural and respectful environment.
