What You Will Do

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at TetraScience, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of our products and services. You will leverage your technical expertise and program management skills to lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of complex projects. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including engineering, product management, go-to-market, and customer success to drive projects to completion.

Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects in various development states, ensuring that each phase is completed on time and within scope. Manage 3-5 loosely connected teams to achieve project milestones and goals. Maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

Release Management: Align and manage a unified release process across all projects and teams. Ensure that all teams are prepared for release activities, and plan for issues that arise during the release cycle.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with product management and go-to-market teams to understand project requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure successful product launches. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and identify process and information gaps.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that could impact project timelines or quality. Monitor project progress and improve escalation processes.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to drive better outcomes.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in technical program management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and releases in a regulated environment.

Technical Knowledge: Technical background with a solid understanding of software and cloud technologies. Expert level experience in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Extensive experience with technical development processes and software release management.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including remote or geographically dispersed teams. Proven experience in driving alignment and collaboration across multiple teams.

Regulatory Understanding: Experience working in highly regulated industries, such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare, with a strong understanding of compliance and quality standards.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline). Advanced degrees or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
