Designs and builds semantic data services, ontology and vocabulary management systems, ETL pipelines, knowledge models, and interoperability standards. The role integrates formal biomedical terminologies into a scalable data platform, supports vocabulary governance and lifecycle management, and provides informatics expertise, mentorship, and architectural guidance. Responsibilities include software engineering, service-oriented architecture, common data model implementation, semantic normalization, distributed-system contract evolution, and company-wide migrations.

Own end-to-end quality for scientific software use cases, including release sign-off, requirements traceability, SDLC compliance, and test evidence. Build and maintain workflow-based automation across UI, API, and database layers using Playwright. Lead functional, performance, security, resiliency, exploratory, and AI-feature testing. Collaborate with cross-functional and customer teams, improve testing practices, manage QE delivery independently, and validate data and AI claims in regulated environments.

Own the architecture and production operation of a multi-tenant AI/ML platform supporting model and prompt lifecycles, inference, RAG, agents, evaluation, observability, security, and cost controls. Lead infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation, reliability, compliance, and technical direction while partnering with applied AI, data engineering, security, and platform teams. Mentor engineers and serve as the design authority for scalable AI systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Lead the architecture, development, operation, and evolution of TetraScience’s multi-tenant Tetra Apps platform. Design containerized application runtimes, routing, identity, security, observability, deployment, and developer tooling. Guide sprint and quarterly planning, write architecture decisions, support production customers, and mentor engineers through technical leadership. Remain hands-on across TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, AWS, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD while safely improving a live platform.

Design, build, and operate high-performance, distributed .NET and TypeScript/React applications and cloud APIs. Implement microservices on AWS, automated testing, GitHub Actions CI/CD, observability with OpenTelemetry, and diagnose production issues to ensure scalable, reliable systems.
