Revenue Operations is responsible for driving financial success through creating, maintaining, and continually improving the operations, platforms, and intelligence that support our go-to-market teams. This team works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Enterprise Technology, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the customer journey, from lead generation to revenue recognition. As a Sr Technical Product Manager, GTM Systems, you will manage the platform as a product, partnering with stakeholders to understand internal customer needs, prioritize features, and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions. Using your understanding of business processes, enterprise tools, automation, and integrated systems, you will maintain a roadmap of enhancements that drive measurable business outcomes.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Customer Understanding: Deeply understand the needs, pain points, and workflows of internal customers to drive operational efficiency and improved business outcomes.
- Platform as a Product: Own and prioritize the roadmap and product strategy for your platform, ensuring it delivers value, aligns with compliance requirements, and supports GTM strategy.
- Functional Specifications: Develop detailed functional specifications for tool, workflow, and data changes in partnership with Technical Product Managers, Business Analysts, and system administrators.
- Product Requirement Documentation: Write and maintain clear, concise PRDs that align stakeholders and guide development.
- Operational Expertise: Identify opportunities for process and policy improvements in your domain and incorporate them into the roadmap for scalable, efficient operations.
- Ensure platform changes align with audit, compliance, and financial reporting requirements. Identify risks early and build mitigation strategies into the roadmap.
- AI Enablement & Innovation: Identify, evaluate, and lead AI-driven initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, forecasting, workflow optimization, and development productivity. Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, measurable business outcomes.
- Define and enforce data standards, validation rules, and governance practices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across platforms.
- Continuously assess system and workflow scalability. Proactively redesign processes to support business growth, evolving GTM strategies, and increasing transaction volume.
- Partner with Engineering and RevOps to design scalable integrations across Salesforce, CPQ, Billing, ERP, and other GTM systems. Ensure architectural decisions support long-term maintainability and growth.
- Metrics Orientation: Define and track KPIs, engagement, and usage metrics to measure impact and inform prioritization.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate prioritization and trade-off decisions across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance stakeholders.
- Industry Trends: Stay current on tools, best practices, and GTM trends relevant to your platform to inform strategy and roadmap.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product management, business process improvement, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or related background.
- Familiarity with core GTM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MAP, CPQ, billing, ERP) depending on domain.
- Experience applying product management methodology: discovery, customer interviews, establishing customer-centric requirements, and writing functional design documentation.
- Experience taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design, all the way to market
- Experience working within technical teams, delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Experience leveraging AI to enhance product and development workflows and efficiencies.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Aha!).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (RevOps, Engineering, Finance, GTM leaders) to deliver innovative solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder alignment and influence skills.
