MetLife is seeking a Sr Technical Functional Analyst to join Group Disability Organization. As the Sr Technical Functional Analyst, you will provide expertise during client engagement to deliver solutions to our customers in Disability and Absence space. This position will collaborate closely with a diverse team of Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Leads, Developers, SDET's in delivering complex solutions needed for internal and external US Group Benefits Business initiatives. As a Sr Technical Functional analyst, you will provide Analysis to complex, cross-team strategic technology initiatives. You will act as the primary consultant for eliciting stakeholder needs, investigating and clarifying requirements for the development team. You will be responsible for thought leadership, creative problem solving, cultivating and sustaining client relationships, provide appropriate escalation of issues and resolve escalated issues using solution knowledge and expertise in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead discovery sessions to observe, document and validate business processes and capture key insights.
Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions/COTS/SaaS.
Elicit, analyze, document functional requirements and rules.
Participate in the backlog prioritization/grooming.
Create user stories and wireframes to conceptualize future states for user experience, new or enhanced
services and business cases for products or features. Define acceptance criteria.
Provide functional and configuration support for a specific COTS/SaaS.
Involved in all implementations, testing, integration and issue resolution around COTS/SaaS solution.
Create technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.
Lead operational and production support with ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in the business workflow and processes on a variety of production and application issues.
Monitor performance, identifying underlying problems, researching potential solutions and propose necessary actions in business workflow and processes.
Education -
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related discipline
Experience -

Technical Skill -
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related discipline
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work within a team environment
Proactive with ability to solve problems without detailed direction and drive open issues to completion
Experience leading work across multiple BSA's on cross system, cross team
Excellent user story articulation with acceptance criteria that reflects the customer needs
5-7 years' experience in Information technology as a BSA
Experience working in Agile and/or Dev Ops environment
Excellent customer service and organization skills
Certifications - SAFe for Teams or SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM)
Preferred:
Experience in Insurance domain.
Experience working with data flow diagrams and data modelling (i.e. logical, physical)
Experience working with process modelling (i.e. UML, BPMN)
Experience working with requirements software
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
Other Critical Requirements Like Voice/Non-Voice for Insurance -
SAFe for Teams or SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM)
