About the RoleIn this role, you will be accountable for maintaining and executing design aesthetics through consistent fit and construction aligned to our customer’s needs​, the ability to transfer design concepts into product and engineer them for mass production within costing guidelines by leveraging fit camps and maintaining customer fit consistency​, & able to provide direction to global sourcing teams to expand vendor capabilities and troubleshoot fit issues as needed​. You will also need to show strong collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners and vendors​What You'll Do

  • Build product that meets the Design Aesthetic and Fit Intent using Blocks, Fit Camps, Length Guides, Waist Placement Guides and Construction Standards 

  • Lead fitting to validate Fit Intent and align with Design and Merch partners on silhouette, proportion, design details and construction

  • Ensure fit consistency through establishing flattering fit and balanced garments for all size ranges including Petite, Plus, Short and Tall

  • Use digital pattern software, 3D software, PLM and physical samples to analyze and develop fit throughout the lifecycle of the garment

  • Ensure Digital and Physical samples comply with Brand quality standards throughout the product creation process

  • Address quality issues from VOC callouts and look for opportunities for continuous improvement on fit, construction and quality to reduce return rates in your product category

  • Ability to understand and apply your knowledge of patternmaking, construction, grading and fit to develop product to market that meets the Design aesthetic and Brand Fit consistency standards

  • Ability to apply your expertise in Fit, Construction and Quality to build Brand right Fit and Quality that meets the cost target according to the Time & Action calendar 

  • Be a proactive, self starter who develops and utilizes tools, resources, and processes that support innovative and effective ways of working through all stages of Product Development

  • Stay updated with relevant trends and competitor fit attributes by maintaining a customer- centric mindset and an aesthetic eye

  • A natural problem-solver who inspires a solution –centric approach in his/ her/ their team for solving challenges in fit, construction, cost, performance and quality

  • Demonstrate high EQ with an ability to influence cross functional partners to reach consensus during fittings to ensure decisions enable the process to move forward
