Overall Purpose: 

The Sr. Talent Consultant develops, implements, and administers talent and performance development programs and processes in support of all levels of the Early Warning Services organization.

 

This critical role provides consultative services to internal clients on change management, performance management, talent management and assessment, succession planning, supporting people-projects, supporting organizational design and reorganization strategies and implementation, leadership planning, and other talent management processes and initiatives supporting EWS values and culture. This position creates and supports execution of solutions that drive a best-in-class employee experience culture that will influence employee engagement, retention, and performance management.

 

Essential Functions: 

Consulting 

  • Evaluates business initiatives to determine the appropriate talent management effectiveness interventions to meet organizational goals. 

  • Consults with management on talent performance and assesses existing and future resources needed to achieve objectives and accomplish successful business results. 

  • Acts as a talent coach to internal clients, including mid-level leaders.

  • As a member of the People (HR) team, may work on initiatives and projects outside the role’s specific responsibilities, as needed. 

 

Reporting and Analytics 

  • Develops and manages metrics, data analysis methodologies, and reporting for Talent Effectiveness initiatives. 

  • Participates in the development of enhanced reporting capabilities to measure/track talent program effectiveness. 

  • Develops assessment methodologies to analyze talent program outcome performance and employee accomplishment data to identify trends, action plans, and adjustments to meet organizational goals. 

  • Develops and reports KPI performance metrics in collaboration with line(s) of business. 

 

Program Development and Management 

  • Implements talent effectiveness interventions to provide solutions geared towards improving performance and/or supporting cultural development. 

  • Leads execution of annual performance management cycle, in coordination with people/HR business partners, to ensure alignment of performance management initiatives with organization goals. 

  • Supports strategy execution of talent management, talent assessment, and succession planning efforts.

  • Supports implementation of organizational design and reorganization strategies.

  •  Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Human Resources, or related fields such as talent development, training and development, or organizational development. 

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness Experience facilitating talent management training and development programs.

  • Experience with succession planning, talent management and assessment, and all aspects of a performance management lifecycle (i.e., goal setting, annual appraisals, etc.)

  • Experience applying a data-driven approach to measure effectiveness and provide key stakeholders program metrics, trends, and development strategies. 

  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods 

  • Strong project management, organization skills, and managing multiple priorities. 

  • Ability to conduct classroom and virtual training, as well as facilitate focus groups and high-profile meetings. 

  • Ability to build relationships and partner with employees at all levels in the organization. 

  • Strong problem-solving, creative thinking and demonstrated thought leadership. 

  • Outstanding written, oral and presentation skills 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software 

  • Background and drug screen 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree 

  • Experience with Workday 

  • Certified Professional in Talent Development credential 

  • Change Management Certificate 

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, preferred

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The pay scale for this position in:

Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $110,000 - $130,000

Early Warning Services takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining a competitive salary offer, including, but not limited to, the job scope, market rates and geographic location of a position, candidate’s education, experience, training, and specialized skills or certification(s) in relation to the job requirements and compared with internal equity (peers).
