The opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Sr TA Specialist to join our People Team. In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for high volume roles primarily in our production lab, customer service and billing teams. You will partner with hiring leaders and our internal recruiting team to hire the best talent for GeneDx.
What you'll be doing
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles—from intake to offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and key behaviors needed for a successful hire.
- Screen candidates for qualifications, culture fit, and role alignment.
- Provide updates to hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the hiring process
- Deliver a positive candidate experience that reflects GeneDx’s mission and values.
- Source candidates if needed, through job boards, LinkedIn, CRM (Greenhouse).
- Utilize the technology and tools available to optimize recruiting workflows.
- Act as a positive brand ambassador for GeneDx
- Ensure all recruitment activity is tracked accurately in Greenhouse ATS and is compliant with OFCCP standards.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in business (or equivalent experience)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with experience in high volume recruiting within a corporate environment
- Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills
- Sourcing skills and familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse ATS, and CRM tools
- Familiarity in utilizing AI and other tools to enhance and automate your workload
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Passion for hiring top talent that aligns with mission-driven work
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring both in-office and remote work. (In office 1-2 days a week) The employee will work from our office location in Gaithersburg, MD and remotely from a home office or other suitable location with reliable high-speed internet access. In-office work is performed in a professional office setting with standard lighting, temperature control, and low to moderate noise levels. Remote work is performed in a climate-controlled environment. Standard office equipment including computer, phone, and video conferencing tools are used in both settings. Your standard work schedule and hours will be established in collaboration with your leader and may be adjusted to align with evolving business needs.
Physical Demands
This is a sedentary role requiring prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer. Physical demands include:
- Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for typing and mouse operation
- Visual acuity for reading computer screens and documents
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and video calls
- Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds (office supplies, equipment)
