Position Purpose:  

Market-facing individual contributor responsible for managing daily blueprint takeoff activities, project management, and support of takeoff capabilities for OSS field partners in a specified Pro market. Responsible for complex strategic projects that support an outside sales portfolio that crosses over multiple merchandising departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% Delivery and Execution - Project manage all aspects of the exterior and interior jobs requested from a takeoff with a focus on  large custom and multi-family projects. Partner across THD teams and suppliers to fully support the total project scope. Prepare for and conduct customer takeoff pre-call meetings. Follow-up with takeoff supplier, internal quoting teams, and others to meet SLAs specific to the customer project for on time execution.

  • 20% Mentorship, Training, and Escalations - First line of support for the Takeoff Specialist and operates as a market subject matter expert that supports the takeoff process and coordination between internal/external teams.  Partners with and supports internal teams to quickly resolve issues in line with our value of “Excellent Customer Service.”

  • 10% Planning - Participate in project prioritization, preparation, and planning.

  • 20% Quality Assurance - Partner with internal teams to improve quote standards and presentation, product offerings, services, and other needs that support the takeoff business. Attend team meetings and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners for strategic alignment. Partner and support market leaders for training needs, performance updates, and feedback.

Travel Requirements

  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Working Conditions: 

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of Tableau

  • Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
