JOB TITLE: Sr. Systems Administrator and Support Analyst (Senior Cloud Engineer)

LOCATION: Irving, TX and hybrid role, may work from home

DUTIES: Plan, design, implement and maintain the complex, enterprise-wide Azure IaaS and PaaS services. Research existing and emerging technologies that align with business requirements and provide effective solutions based upon extensive experience in industry technologies and industry best practices. Ensure all aspects of the entire enterprise Azure environment is architecturally sound and highly available. Evaluate the current Azure architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvements. Develop and maintain accurate support documentation in a knowledge repository. Perform environment performance monitoring, trending, and capacity planning for the Azure infrastructure. Analyze, identify, diagnose, and resolve customer issues within the 7-Eleven core infrastructure environment. Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support for 7-Eleven’s Azure infrastructure. Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the Azure environment stays operational. Utilize mastery of skills in at least two of the following categories: Azure IaaS management, ASR, Azure BaaS, ANF, AKS, and ARC. Connect on-prem to cloud data centers such as Amazon Web Service, Azure, OCI, or GCP. Perform diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Describe technical items to non-technical users and help team members or customers in real-time.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Server Infrastructure Engineer, Windows Support Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years performing each of the following skills:

Azure IaaS management;

Azure Site Recovery, ARC, ANF, AKS;

Azure BaaS, VMware, NetApp;

Windows Server Administration; and

Server Infrastructure.

Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
