Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:

• Be an integral part of a cross-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and testing software assets.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, test engineers, dev-ops, operations, and other team members from the product ideation stage to production deployment and support of highly functional, secure, scalable, and robust software solutions.
• Help customers achieve their real goals by understanding their requirements and how they respond to their business needs.
• Analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution.
• Leverage on new technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services.
• Develop and deliver new features every few days and be responsible for them end-end.
• Position reports to the Employer’s Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr. SW Engineer-related occupation.
• Java (Spring or vert.x).
• Database.
• Backend development.
• API development.
• REST development.
• Node JS.

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $130,250.00 USD to $176,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
