Senior Supply Planner 

We are seeking a Supply Planner to support supply planning for key lines of business and optimize supply from toller and external manufacturing operations. In this role, you will translate demand into feasible supply plans, align inventory with service-level targets, identify supply risks, and partner cross-functionally to ensure reliable supply, healthy inventory, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do

Supply Planning

  • Execute standard supply and inventory planning processes with internal Supply Chain partners and external toller partners.
  • Lead the monthly SIOP/Supply Planning cycle by translating demand into feasible supply plans that support customer service and inventory objectives.
  • Identify capacity, material, and supply constraints; escalate risks and support resolution with Procurement and cross-functional partners.
  • Support a positive working environment and continuous improvement mindset across planning processes.

Inventory Management

  • Align inventory targets with forecasted demand, supply constraints, and service-level goals in partnership with inventory leadership.
  • Monitor inventory health, including excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and inactive stock, and recommend mitigation plans.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Demand Planning to incorporate promotions, launches, market trends, and customer demand patterns into supply plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and support new product introduction and end-of-life planning.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for supply and inventory insights, ensuring one aligned supply signal across the organization.
  • Represent supply planning in issue management discussions and recommend options to mitigate service and inventory risks.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain supply planning parameters and master data in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Use analytics to identify trends, seasonality, exceptions, and planning accuracy improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on supply deviations and drive action plans to improve performance.
     
QualificationsBasic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply planning, inventory planning, production planning, or related supply chain operations.
  • Working knowledge of SIOP/S&OP, MRP, inventory management, and supply planning processes.
  • Ability to analyze demand, inventory, capacity, and supply data to identify risks and support business decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using planning or ERP systems.
    Preferred Requirements
  • Professional certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with tollers, contract manufacturers, or external supply networks.
  • Experience supporting NPI, EOL, excess & obsolete inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Experience with SAP APO, Kinaxis or similar advanced planning systems.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and communicate risks and trade-offs clearly.
