This professional is responsible for planning and implementing activities related to the timely, cost-effective logistics, inventory control, lead time of product and service deliverables, people development, as well as coordinating with global teams all necessary efforts to be the best in class service, cash, cost and innovation provider in LATAM market.
In this role, you will…
- Coordinate the IBP (Integrated Business Plan) process across the market.
- Govern the E2E of Supply Chain including managing closely Logistics provider to ensure adequate level of service and cost and cash, through a seamless operation.
- Develop a high performance organization being a role model in values and inspiring leader.
- Coordinate import/export process in Colombia e Chile countries.
- Management of Service Level of all logistic Provider.
- Coordinate internal projects of automatization and digitalization in Supply Chain. Focus on innovation in methods, ways of working, market tools.
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
- Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
- Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory-carrying costs.
- Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods.
- Guarantee monthly and quarterly shipments goals for the region in compliance with sanitary and customs regulation in every single market.
- Work closely with business, operational and functional leaders to develop and implement the most appropriate solutions for the region. Always soliciting feedback to ensure solutions match business needs.
- Integrates the "voice of the customer" into the supply chain organization.
- Work with global team members, as well as other regional leaders, to ensure that the process remains consistent and that we can better leverage our global scale while keeping regional priorities focused.
In this role, you’ll need
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Computer Science or correlated; Post-graduation in correlated area is desirable.
- Be Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese is desirable.
- +10 years’ Supply Chain experience in a corporate/office environment in Colombia and / or Chile leading teams horizontal and vertical.
- Strong experience in Import/Export, Project Management, Planning, cost/accounting /Tax and Customer Service.
- Significant Experience in managing biddings related to Supply Chain Operations providers.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors through successful management of projects, people, and/or teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and correlated tools.
- Troubleshooting, problem solving.
- Experience with stakeholders management / matrix organizations.
- Sensitive position regarding supply chain security or compliance with tax and customs obligations.
