In this role you will organize and implement a variety of responsibilities related to Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and associated systems. Duties involve, but are not limited to, TMS services, supply chain services, and third-party warehousing. Serves as liaison between operations and technical teams to develop concepts and coordinate system knowledge. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures. May drive compliance with national and international customs and trade-related topics. Works independently within guidelines and policies, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provides functional guidance.

The Opportunity
We seek an experienced and highly motivated senior supply chain business systems analyst with experience in transportation management systems to lead the implementation and management of our TMS and other related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong logistics background, supply chain management, and a proven track record of successfully deploying TMS solutions.  
Role Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed resource allocation, risk management, and communication.

  • Implement TMS into existing systems.

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of current systems and transportation operations to identify and develop tactical opportunities for freight consolidation before full system integration.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure TMS solutions are correctly configured, tested, and integrated with other systems.

  • Oversee data migration, user training, and system go-live activities.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and system performance.

  • Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, making adjustments as needed.

  • Prepare and present regular progress status reports to senior management.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.

  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues.

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years business experience.

Preferred

  • Proven experience in leading TMS implementations and managing cross-functional teams.

  • Strong understanding of transportation management systems, logistics operations, and supply chain processes.

  • Prioritizing tasks, managing multiple assignments simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and TMS software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $77,300 - $143,500.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
