Brief Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sr. Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing operation in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Sr. Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading production supervisors and supporting the daily execution of manufacturing operations across assigned shifts and areas. This role is critical to ensuring safe, disciplined, and efficient execution of the production plan while maintaining strong operational control, workforce engagement, and customer focus.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving performance in safety, productivity, efficiency, quality, schedule attainment, floor discipline, and people management. This position requires strong manufacturing experience, sound decision-making, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment while coordinating effectively with Planning, Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, Quality, and other support functions.

This role will be expected to strengthen operational execution, improve accountability across the production team, and support the organization’s readiness for continued business growth and increasing manufacturing complexity.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria Core Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production execution across assigned shift(s) and areas.
  • Drive compliance with safety standards, PPE use, 5S expectations, and plant procedures.
  • Ensure production plans are executed in a disciplined and timely manner.
  • Provide leadership and direction to production supervisors and frontline teams.
  • Support control of productivity, efficiency, utilization, scrap, quality, and labor performance.
  • Escalate operational risks, downtime, shortages, and execution issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong shift-to-shift communication and continuity of execution.
  • Reinforce floor discipline, accountability, and operational ownership within the team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to remove barriers and improve output stability.
  • Support talent development, coaching, performance management, and team engagement.

  • Quality performance, scrap control, and execution discipline.
  • Labor utilization and overtime control.

Qualifications Required / Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, production control, labor management, and performance follow-up.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-accountability operation.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Experience leading multiple teams, shifts, or areas of responsibility.
  • Strong background in productivity improvement, floor discipline, and execution control.
  • Experience with performance metrics such as efficiency, productivity, utilization, scrap, and schedule attainment.
  • Experience in coaching supervisors and developing frontline leadership.
  • Mechanical or electrical background is a plus.
