What are you going to do?

As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, data-driven media solutions across Programmatic and Paid Social channels. You will be responsible for translating client briefs into actionable strategies and overseeing the end-to-end planning and execution of campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

You will support the Region Lead, Client Director and senior leadership in shaping strategic responses, bringing fresh thinking and innovation to every proposal. With a strong understanding of buying platforms, audience targeting, and performance metrics, you will collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver solutions that create measurable business value. In addition to this, you will lead a team of strategic planners across the Europe region, providing clear direction, mentorship, and support to ensure consistency in quality and strategic output. You will act as a benchmark for excellence, setting standards through your own work and guiding the team to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions that align with regional and global objectives.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a strong foundation in Programmatic and Paid Social media planning, along with a proactive mindset and a drive to deliver exceptional results.
 

What are you going to achieve?

The purpose of the Senior Strategic Planner is to support the Client Lead in delivering media excellence across Programmatic and Paid Social campaigns. As Senior Planner, you will be responsible for translating client briefs into actionable media strategies, managing the day-to-day planning process, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, while also building strong relationships with media partners to unlock innovation and value. This role plays a critical part in driving performance, maximizing investment impact, and contributing to long-term client success through data-driven planning and continuous improvement.

Strategic Media Planning

  • Translate client briefs into actionable media strategies;
  • Develop integrated plans across Programmatic and Paid Social;
  • Align media strategies with client objectives and KPIs.

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery: setup, launch, optimization, and wrap-up;
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards;
  • Coordinate with activation, data, and creative teams for seamless execution,

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Support the Client Lead in client communications and presentations;
  • Provide regular updates, performance insights, and strategic recommendations;
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Media Partner & Vendor Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with media owners and platform reps;
  • Leverage partner insights and innovations to enhance campaign performance;
  • Guide investment toward the most effective and commercially viable partners.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize in real time.;
  • Deliver post-campaign analysis with actionable insights;
  • Use data to inform future planning and continuous improvement.

Administrative & Operational Excellence

  • Manage planning documentation, timelines, and campaign trackers;
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and service level agreements (SLAs);
  • Support billing, reconciliation, and campaign close-out tasks.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with platform updates, trends, and best practices;
  • Bring new ideas and testing opportunities to clients and teams;
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process refinement.

Who are you?

  • You have 4+ years of experience in media, advertising, or marketing, with a strong understanding of media planning and buying;
  • You have proven client budget management experience;
  • You are strong in decision making;
  • You are an expert in analysis & insights;
  • You have excellent communication skills;
  • You have advanced project management skills;
  • You have extensive media planning experience;
  • You have a passion for digital marketing and the desire to grow within this industry.
