This position is expected to provide NPI Test Operations and Engineering support for new products releases and deliver operational excellence through test site readiness, yield improvements and on-time test transfers across our Test Manufacturing Sites (Internal and Outsourcing Suppliers) in Malaysia, Taiwan, China and, Korea. This position reports into Test Operations under Operations Engineering Department (OED).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Test Operations interface to Renesas Product Groups on all NPI phases of product lifecycle from Engineering Build Requests to Mass production
- Coordinate Probe/Final Test site readiness and execute test transfer from New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing
- Deployment of new tester/handler technology and test solutions to test manufacturing sites from test development
- Execute new test capacity expansions (tester/ handler/ hardware) to ensure sufficient capacity and meet production demand
- Support daily test operations activities during Pre/Post NPI release to ensure delivery fulfillment on key customer samples
- Drive new Test Strategy, RFQ Test site and NPI Deployment
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computing or related engineering discipline
- Preferable with >3 years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Test Manufacturing environment in Probe/ WLCSP and Final Test
- Familiar with NPI product and development life cycle and Operations process flow (probe/assy/test)
- Knowledgeable with one of major ATE tester platforms (Teradyne UltraFLEX/Flex, Advantest 93k, Cohu DMDX, SPEA) & Pick/Place test handlers
- Good understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis and reliability test
- Excellent problem-solving ability (8D, Why-Why Analysis, Process & Manufacturing challenges)
- Strong project management skills
Good to have:
- Proficient on test equipment interfaces (h/w, change-kits, docking)
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.)
