The day to day.
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering Management, and an agile development team to deliver impactful software rapidly and iteratively
Drive results by seeking out and anticipating roadblocks, and identifying improvements to increase efficiency
Write, test, and maintain software applications that are resilient, robust, and perform at scale
Apply specialized knowledge to understand, analyze and solve dynamic challenges
Constantly look for opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and optimization of code
Encourage and drive the implementation of industry leading engineering practices
4+ years of writing software using Agile practices to deliver high quality software addressing customer needs
Deep understanding of the inner workings of WordPress and how users build with it
PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript + the ability to quickly adapt to new software language requirements
Familiarity with cloud technologies and services - GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience working with a remote team
Experience leading and presenting to peers and immediate managers
Experience working with CI/CD, testing, deployment pipelines

Base Salary Range
We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
