As a Sr. Staff Project Manager, you will work alongside department leadership, all functions in the department, and supporting organizations (e.g., Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Human Resources) to drive improvements and standardization across the business. Key focus areas include time & data management, budgeting & cost control, business process development & standardization, department communications & documentation, and other continuous improvement efforts as self-identified or tasked by the team.
You Will:
- Understand and stay abreast of the business performance, team and culture to ensure proper prioritization and discipline
- Gain holistic knowledge of the product, production processes, and manufacturing technologies to understand and mitigate risks, as well as to recognize optimization opportunities
- Work with affected teams to understand the critical actions necessary to integrate their requirements into the manufacturing line
- Coordinate organization’s time & data management: create meeting governance, request/secure meeting materials to schedule, maintain meeting minutes and track action items to closure
- Lead KPI dashboard development/reporting and critical project reviews: analyze data, drive insights and strategic planning, and deliver actionable solutions
- Act as gatekeeper for plan of record from Program Management teams and change control process; prepare and own program change control packages
- Collaborate with Operations Finance to support budgetary planning and cost reduction initiatives; manage resourcing requirements for department and support business case study development between cross-functional teams
- Facilitate regular updates to senior management on priority business topics
- Recommend and validate improvements to streamline existing business operations, sustain business processes
- Engage with production, engineering, maintenance and quality teams in daily operations; manage initiatives and drive programs to optimize Lucid Production System performance
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish
- Organize department-level communications and project/operations reviews
- Support and coordinate technical supplier visits
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years in Project Management, with manufacturing capital projects/launch experience
- Comfortable giving effective presentations to and facilitating meetings with all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to foster and support a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork; able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across all departments
- Must be a self-starter and results oriented
- Able to navigate ambiguity
- Comfortable working with people in a matrixed environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
