Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience
- Advanced understanding of circulating air blower systems, heating and cooling systems, and electrical systems integration
- Expertise in component and equipment selection, including fans, pumps, piping, controls, and heat exchangers
- Applied knowledge of fluid dynamics, airflow systems, and thermodynamics
- Experience leading system validation and performance optimization efforts
- Proficiency in 3D CAD systems and engineering analysis tools
- Autodesk Inventor and Vault experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in the HVAC or refrigeration industry
- Experience with industrial control systems
- Experience with Design of Experiments, statistical analysis, and validation planning
- Experience running and interpreting FEA and CFD simulations
- Experience with sound and vibration analysis
- Deep understanding of heat transfer principles and system optimization
- Experience developing global product platforms
- Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification
