The candidate should be a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct. This position will be within our Avionics Integration Organization.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- • Drive issue resolution in the field pertaining to complex data center and communication systems
- • Manage Root Cause Corrective Actions, drive root cause analysis and their associated resolutions for field technical issues
- • Technical execution of maintenance and sustainment support of ground segment systems in the field
- • Provide performance status, drive execution and facilitate all associated communications with key stakeholders to include Field Response IPT leadership, enterprise liaison engineers and Mission Engineers
- • Manage Integrated Functional Capability of fielded systems
- • Responsible for Operational Configuration Control (OCC) and Configuration Change Board (CCB) for all fielded systems, ensuring that proposed changes are properly reviewed, authorized, implemented, and documented to maintain the integrity of the operational baseline
- • Review technical information prior to submission to the Configuration Change Board (CCB)
- • Ensure thorough technical CCB package generation and provide technical oversight (expertise to RE’s)
- • Deliver presentations and technical packages to customers, management and program stakeholders
- • Manage cross engineering function action items
- • Approve modification implementation management
- • Measure and report status relating to modification performance
- • Serve as change agent for change Implementation process & culture
- • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders; including responsible engineers, program leadership and the customer community regarding technical, staffing resources and schedule pertaining to your statement of work
- • Produce, review, and coordinate technical change documentation
- • Champion and defend priorities for resolution of deficiencies through Technical and Software Review Boards
- • Review and develop technical publication material
- • Define, deliver and implement monthly cyber patches
- • Support Maintenance Review Boards
- The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. Travel up to 25% may be required
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 14 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 10years of related engineering experience
- Must have experience in troubleshooting of small to large scale infrastructure
- Must have experience in managing projects from concept through implementation
- Must have solid understanding of engineering process with execution experience across the program lifecycle
- Must have experience in conducting Root Cause Corrective Action analysis and the subsequent execution of a timely Corrective Action Plan
- Must have leadership experience leading a technical team
- At minimum, an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required to apply and to start the role with, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs and
- This SAP and PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Active DoD Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Broad technical understanding with insight to maintenance operations
- Configuration & data management experience
- Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) Management
- Experience with data centers and communication systems
- Experience with JIRA and Agile Process Management
- Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills
- Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders
Skills Required
