SUMMARY
The Sr. Specialist – Procurement Data Analytics is responsible for developing and scaling advanced analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making across the procurement organization. This role transforms procurement data into actionable insights, enabling performance management, value tracking, supplier intelligence, and strategic sourcing decisions.
This position partners closely with procurement leadership, finance, and digital teams and reports into the Procurement Backend Support Lead.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Analytics Strategy & Data Management
Lead procurement analytics strategy, including data models, dashboards, and reporting standards across direct and indirect spending.
Design and manage end-to-end analytics workflows: data extraction, cleansing, validation, and enrichment across multiple data sources.
Own spend analytics, sourcing analytics, savings tracking, and supplier performance reporting.
Support data governance initiatives to ensure data integrity, consistency, and transparency.
Business Insights & Decision Support
Translate procurement data into insights that support category strategies, negotiations, and supplier management.
Develop KPIs and performance scorecards aligned with procurement value drivers and transformation initiatives.
Support leadership with ad-hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and executive-level reporting.
Partner with Finance COE to align savings methodologies, value reporting, and performance tracking.
Advanced Analytics & Visualization
Design and maintain advanced dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Leverage SQL and analytics platforms to automate reporting and enable self-service analytics.
Explore predictive and AI-driven analytics use cases (risk signals, demand patterns, supplier trends).
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science and Analytics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
6–9 years of experience in analytics roles, preferably within Procurement, Supply Chain, or Finance.
Strong experience supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights.
2. Skills & Competencies
Project Management: Strong project management capabilities to lead and deliver multiple analytics initiatives simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Leadership Ability to lead and motivate cross functional team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and resolve complex issues.
Collaboration: Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and deadlines

Communication: Strong communication skills and executive presence.
Data Accuracy: High level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
3. Technical Skills
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Coupa) and their integration with procurement processes.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or related.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power app, SharePoint and strong Excel modeling skills.
4. Language skills
Fluent English
Additional languages are a plus (Portugues, Chinese).

The minimum annual base salary for this position is €52,800. Your starting salary may be higher, depending on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and the unique perspective you would bring to the role.
