Job Description:

The Sr. Specialist Communications Specialist will report to the Vice President, Communications, Events, and Central Marketing and support the corporate communication team to help articulate, share, and engage targeted internal and external global audiences with Envista’s purpose, strategy, and culture. This individual will execute upon communication plan and event logistics in organized, strategic, and creative ways. She/He will ensure all material is consistent with current campaign standard processes for creation and circulation, style, format, and branding.

Job Requirements:

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate and execute communication campaigns that increase the awareness and favorable image of Envista and its operating companies among current and prospective employees globally.
  • Support the Communication team in logistics and administrative tasks.
  • Work with the SharePoint team to develop and utilize the latest intranet applications to foster engaging, two-way communication across the global enterprise.
  • Coordinate and execute upon leadership events.
  • Contribute ideas for fresh, innovative, and informative digital content, including videos, newsletters, infographics, testimonials, and photography.
  • Leverage innovative technologies to continuously improve communication tool standards and effectiveness.
  • Serve as brand ambassador.
  • Contribute to the Envista Global Events team as an on-site team member through logistical planning and execution, content editing, detail orientation, and offering creative and engaging event ideas.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, or relevant area
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience of relevant experience in creating content
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in event coordination and planning
  • Experience with blogging and developing/deploying video content to internal and external sites
  • Strong communication skills (one-on-one, writing skills, presentation skills)
  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to Brea, CA.

  • Successful candidate will be articulate with a professional presence.
  • Will have excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, as well as strong technological skills.
  • Will have knowledge using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Rush
  • Will display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity and will be non- political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all.
  • Will manage his or her time effectively and have superior planning and organization skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Will be a self-starter and proven team player capable of prioritizing his or her own work and/or problems simultaneously
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing, and demanding environment.
  • Will have integrity, viewed as credible, and trustworthy to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Will be open-minded and culturally aware to ensure logistics connect with all global employees.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
