Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and improve Sourcing strategies at business/Product Line level. Provide leadership in the development and translation of these strategies into Product Line impact.
- Create and own operating rhythms to align the Product Lines and Sourcing organizations with a relentless focus on impact and outcomes.
- Develop expertise within function and constantly grow reputation within the organization.
- Lead cross functional teams or projects, as applicable, with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Present business solutions to leaders in cross functional areas. Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally with others to adopt different viewpoints. Influence peers to take action.
- Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that impact product strategy.
- Use multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at decisions.
- Optimize deal structures to integrate long-range engine and spares forecasts into Sourcing strategy.
- Monitor process, analyze data, and recommend business strategies to minimize total costs that are aligned to Product Line customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years' experience in Sourcing, Sourcing Management, Buying-Procurement, or roles relevant to Supply Chain)
- A minimum of 5 years in Sourcing, Sourcing Management Buying-Procurement, or roles relevant to Supply Chain
- This position requires U.S. citizenship status
