Description
The Sr. Sourcing Engineer serves as the supply chain technical liaison, working in direct partnership with R&D, Advanced Manufacturing, Commercial Manufacturing and Direct Procurement teams on all new product development and advanced technology initiatives. This role supports the identification, early engagement, and technical capability assessment of all new product development suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Advanced Technology, R&D and commercials teams on the identification of new contract manufacturers, component suppliers, materials and services required to support new product development or indication expansion initiatives.
- Execute supplier business agreements (NDA/CDA, SOW and development agreements) as required to protect company IP, financial and business essentials.
- Drive early supplier engagement feasibility activities in partnership with engineering and quality teams.
- Supports Supplier Selection technical and competitive analysis as required.
- Perform preliminary supplier capability, capacity, cost and business continuity assessments.
- Identify and mitigate pre-commercialization supplier risk burndown activities to ensure commercial launch success.
- Act as primary supply chain procurement liaison between R&D and direct procurement teams.
- Support establishment of commercial pricing agreements as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, with a concentration in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in R&D development within the Medical Device industry.
- Experience in the areas of Supplier Quality (supplier audits and component qualifications) a plus.
- Working knowledge of Stent and Catheter manufacturing techniques and component design.
- General understanding of FDA Regulations and ISO Guidelines in areas of Design Control and Risk Management.

Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 . A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
