Role Overview:
Trellix is hiring a Sr. Solutions Engineer for Canada's Toronto, Ottawa, and Quebec Commercial and Enterprise business. Responsibilities include building business, developing relationships, and capturing the technical win on key customer opportunities.
The ideal Senior Solutions Engineer will understand and have in-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud Architectures and on-premise hub and spoke infrastructures. They will understand the challenges our customers are facing in today's work environment and the transformation going on in the security industry.
This role will be located in Montreal or Quebec preferably. Secondary locations are Ottawa or Toronto.
About the Role:

Participate in sales conference calls with teams, providing product information and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Trellix solutions can provide value to them.

Can present XDR and cloud solutions and how this addresses the customers' needs and outcomes.

Provide technical expertise on customer product and solution demonstrations.

Contribute to the writing of solution proposals and ensure it meets or exceeds the customer's requirements and fit for the intended purpose.

Contribute to the technical or solution response to RFIs/RFPs.

Build and participate in pipeline activities.

Retain a competent level of knowledge and technical hands-on experience across Trellix products, solutions, and sales proposition.

Stay informed about security trends and industry analysts reports and information.

Share best practices, providing feedback to product management and support the go-to market programs of the company.

Remote planning and complete customer product pilots.

Follow Trellix corporate guidelines and compliance.
About You:

You are located in Montreal or Quebec preferably. Secondary locations are Ottawa or Toronto.

You have a least 5+ years of security experience with deep knowledge in end-to-end cyber security solutions.

Conduct impactful customer presentations which convey the value of the solution.

Support customer beta activities and early adopter programs.

Provide technical escalation management within territory/accounts.

Update the technical SE activities within Salesforce system.

Complete activities on time and to the desired outcomes.

Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches and build pipeline.

Ensure successful product evaluations and Proof of Concepts.
This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $160,000 - $190,000 CAD. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $210,000 – $250,000 CAD. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
