Job Summary
This position is responsible to plan, execute, and have full oversite for project management activities related to the implementation of Henry Schein practice management Ascend software and services to customers including mid-size to large group practice locations in private, public and government sectors.
What you will do
- Plan, lead, organize and control projects from beginning to end
- Serve as a primary point of contact for both internal and external customers during all phases of the implementation project to achieve defined success, including the recognition and handling of escalated customer issues. Set appropriate customer expectations
- Ensure timely and effective customer service expectations are met and/or exceeded at all times
- Overall responsibility for quality of deliverables
- Overall responsibility of deliverables according to project timelines in order to ensure revenue recognition according to forecast
- Seasoned, expert level experience to lead “Current State and Future state” consulting assessments around functionality and/or processes
- Communicate with C-Level management both internally and externally
- Manage multiple/simultaneous implementation projects
- Resolve advanced customer escalations
- Seasoned, expert level experience in leading on site meetings with C-level management
- Track all correspondence and completed tasks to provide accurate record of account/project history
- Seasoned, expert level experience in professionally establishing strong working relationships with other people and teams
- Advanced professional experience with both client/server and cloud based (SaaS) applications and services
- Advanced professional experience with regulatory compliance and requirements including HIPAA
- Seasoned, expert level experience with project management. Responsible for providing Engagement Managers and/or clients with updated implementation plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, benchmark metrics, communications documents, etc.
- Recognize and provide input into process improvement
- Mentor other members of the team
- May lead special projects or other duties as assigned
- Responsible to work toward and assist in the achievement of individual, team, department, and company goals.
Travel/Physical Demands
- Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Typically 6 to 8 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent ability to professionally understand and diffuse stressful situations
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, CRM, SaaS applications, and internet browsers
- Excellent technical skills including (Network configurations, WANs, Citrix, Virtual Server, 3rd party ISPs, Windows SQL Server, hosted solutions, etc.)
- Seasoned, Expert level verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation skills
- Professional appearance and presentation skills required
- Practice management software and services including Henry Schein solutions experience preferred
- Project management experience and/or certifications (CAPM, PMP, Project+, etc.) required.
- Excellent understanding of industry practices
- Strong proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures
- Strong planning/organizational skills and techniques
- Strong decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills

Nice to have:
- Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications.
The posted range for this position is $84,000- $105,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a target bonus not reflected in the posted range.
