The Role: Sr. Software Engineer(Oracle PLSQL)

The Team: VIN Solutions in Mobility - We are responsible for several high availability applications. We regularly work with other teams to implement application enhancements to ensure our customers receive the right data when they need it. We also work with our customers if they are facing any issues with our applications. We strive to think creatively to come up with the best solutions for our customers.

The Impact: This role will regularly be investigating customer questions, which requires you to take initiative, and think outside of the box, digging into data to identify where the issue may reside. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop and deliver new features to our customers, always striving to exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities1. Design, develop, and implement complex software applications using best practices.

2. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features to our customers.

4. Work on bug fixing, improving application performance, and maintaining the quality of the application.

5. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

6. Mentor junior team members, providing them with guidance and support.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven software development experience and software engineering skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience coding. Strong knowledge of Oracle PLSQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting and a general understanding of Python and Java Experience with system architecture or leading a software team.
