Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Reports to: Sr. Director, Platform Development Engineering
A quick snapshot…
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll drive technical initiatives as the company goes through a cloud migration to AWS. You'll have a focus on architecture and design but will also remain hands-on with coding the most complex components, providing expertise to product aligned Agile engineering teams and occasionally jumping on calls with clients. You will be collaborating with other Software Engineers to modernize the entire tech stack of the Products.

The Sr. Software Engineer will play a vital role in leading the design and development of secure and robust software architectures for assigned products and subsystems, ensuring their integrity, stability, and scalability. You will be involved in architecture, design, and code reviews and all Agile ceremonies. Your will be engaged in cross-functional stakeholders, technical leaders, and executives across time zones to communicate project status, bring up issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making. You will be implementing development processes to continuously deliver on time with high efficiency.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Relative Experience. You should have a minimum of 5+ years' experience and develop software requirements from product requirements, by thoroughly understanding both explicit and implicit of the system under development. Your hands on experience in development including leading architecture for enterprise system designing and writing code with back-end stacks C#. Familiarity with Python and a desire to learn further to be able enhance existing systems
Tools: You should have a thorough understanding of fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms. You must be entrepreneurial with good business acumen, keen to take ownership and lead projects. You have to be collaborative, enjoy problem solving and sharing ideas.
Experienced creating robust, performant RESTful applications Your understanding AWS or Azure, Server deployment, Application security and performance, Design principals Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Technical skills. Proficiency in Agile /Scrum methodology.
Frameworks: Dot NET (.NET) Core, PyTest, NumPy, Flask or FastAPI, ReactJS
Scripting languages: C#, Python, Javascript
Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, RestAPI, Kafka.
Version Control tools: GitHub, JIRA
Database: Any No SQL or SQL database
Cloud-first architecture: AWS or Azure
Education. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
