Scope:
- Analyze solution architecture and make recommendations to optimize performance.
- Analyzes and optimizes components to take advantage of project specific databases and system configurations.
- Assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
- Maintain direct communication between the project manager, project team and other JDA associates as required.
- Provide technical expertise during the project, including performance tuning, DB design, installation, stress/load testing and interface development work.
- Provide technical expertise on development projects as necessary.
- Understand technical needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Our current technical environment:
- Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
- Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant
- Microservices architecture.
- Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
- Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS,
- Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite.
What you’ll do:
- Write JMeter tests for the identified testcases.
- Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests.
- Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
- Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
- Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
- Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detail status reports and monitoring of all defects and issues.
- Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
What we are looking for:
- STEM degree or hands on experience between 5 - 8 with Expertise in Performance engineering/testing tools using Jmeter
- Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management
- Strong knowledge on SQLSERVER and ORACLE DB
- Experience in Git, JIRA, Jenkins, TM4J or any test management tool
- Experience in Integration with Blaze meter
- Experience in Monitoring on Azure cloud
- Experience in Working knowledge of Linux.
