To design and develop on the ServiceNow Platform following the Software Development Life Cycle and to provide support to existing applications.
Major Responsibilities:
* The ServiceNow Engineer is responsible for helping the team drive feature and story solutions, refine story acceptance criteria, delivering story commitments for each sprint, and helping the success of the team as a whole
* Participate in creating solutions for functional and non-functional requirements
* Collaborate with the Scrum team in an agile development environment
* Contribute to continuous improvement of SDLC processes and methodologies
* Develop solutions with scalability and flexibility in mind
* Ensure development delivery meets expectations as defined in a User Story
* Attend and actively participate in all Sprint meetings (Refinement, Planning, Stand-up and Retrospective)
* Accountable to accept and deliver work within each sprint that closely matches planned capacity; escalate to Scrum Master and/or manager if there is an insufficient number of User Stories in the backlog to achieve this.
* Quickly identify roadblocks/impediments and escalate to the Tech Lead or Scrum Master
* When engaged by Operations, assist with root cause analysis and resolution of production Incidents.
* Burn down daily and call out any assigned work that does not have associated tasks in Rally (i.e., ServiceNow Federated Team Stories)
* Ensure that the product/capability owners are aware of alternative solutions to meet requirements and their associated risks
* Ensure automated testing scripts are updated, if they exist for the functionality that is being modified by assigned Task. Deliver changes per defined source control management strategy and branching guidelines.
* Ensure code is properly documented (i.e. SNDoc)
* Participates in interviewing of new software engineering resources.

Required Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree or associate degree
* 4+ years of ServiceNow development skills
* 4+ years of experience with ITSM processes (Incident/Problem/Request/Change management)
* 2+ years of experience with Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
* 2+ years of experience customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly, Angular 1.5
Preferred Qualifications: Good to have
* Knowledge of programming languages, test methodologies, corresponding tools and technology (as listed below)
o Core Java Script
o Selenium Web driver
o GitHub
o JMeter
* Experience with maintaining automated testing scripts
* Experience with Selenium
