We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Consultant with solid expertise in network security technologies, cloud platforms, and security analytics. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Bluecoat, along with Solid knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and Automation capabilities. This role requires a proactive security professional who can support, design, and enhance enterprise security environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, operate, and support enterprise-grade network security platforms, including Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, and Bluecoat / Symantec ProxySG solutions
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, security policy lifecycle management, tuning, and optimization across on-prem and cloud-connected security environments
- Act as Level-3 escalation support for high-severity network security incidents, outages, and complex troubleshooting scenarios
- Design, implement, Deploy and manage cloud security controls within AWS, Azure, or GCP, including network segmentation and secure access models
- Participate in cloud security architecture reviews, design discussions, and provide best-practice security recommendations
- Utilize Splunk for security and operational analytics, including log analysis, dashboard creation, alert tuning, and security use-case development
- Support proactive detection, investigation, and response to security events using monitoring, analytics, and SIEM platforms
- Apply automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, APIs) to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve service reliability
- Leverage AI/ML-driven tools and frameworks to enhance security monitoring, anomaly detection, and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs) and collaborate effectively with Cloud, Infrastructure, and SOC teams, while mentoring junior engineers and managing stakeholders and vendors
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of experience in Network Security, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Security roles
- Proven experience with cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Solid working knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, proxies, secure access, and policy enforcement. Solid hands-on experience with Splunk or similar SIEM/analytics platforms
- Experience with automation, scripting, and API-based integrations
- Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls; PCNSE certification is solidly preferred
- Ability to support on-call rotations and respond to high-severity security incidents when required
Preferred Qualification:
- Industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, AWS/Azure Security, or equivalent
