Broadridge is hiring. Our team is seeking an experienced Java Developer who is passionate about the craft and art of developing mission-critical software. You love to learn and work with leading-edge technologies in a collaborative work environment. Superb opportunity for applicants that are proficient in Java, JavaScript, and AWS. Main responsibility of this role will be to write clean code, data design, testing, technical design and troubleshooting. This is a contract role to work remotely. Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
  • Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions.
  • Provides application software development services typically in a defined project.
  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.
  • Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work
  • Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
  • May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
  • Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
  • Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Core Java Technologies
  • 5+ year’s in Spring and Hibernate
  • 5+ years of Microservices
  • Working experience on Integration platforms
  • 5+ year’s on Messaging technologies like Kafka, IBM MQ, Active MQ etc
  • 7+ years experience in Cloud/AWS technologies. [ECS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, SQS]
  • Good Analytical and Debugging skills.
