The Role
As a Sr Fullstack Software Development Engineer, you will be crucial in launching and supporting Entitle—BeyondTrust's Just-In-Time Access Management system. You will take end-to-end ownership across the entire application stack, from the user interface to the backend services and cloud infrastructure. You will be part of a fast-paced team designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining a cloud-based software solution utilizing modern orchestration technologies. This is a unique opportunity for you to step up as a technical leader in solving complex cloud-scale challenges and deliver a bar-raising platform system with an excellent user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and resilient user interfaces (UIs) and backend components, services, and orchestration.
- Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to translate requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Deliver outstanding user experience by implementing complex API-based integrations on the client side.
- Contribute to the design of both frontend and backend systems and provide technical leadership for projects with increasing complexity.
- Review functional and technical requirements to identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate ideas effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Be a bar-raiser for delivering results and taking end-to-end ownership individually and as part of a team.
- Relentless pursuit of high quality by leveraging engineering best practices across the entire stack.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years' experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems.
- Hands-on experience in Fullstack development, including architecting, developing, and deploying both user interface and backend services.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript for both client-side and server-side development.
- Proven professional experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React).
- Experience in developing scalable microservices architectures.
- Strong working knowledge of one or more backend frameworks (e.g., nodeJS, nestJS, fastify).
- Strong working knowledge of data storage and messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, Object Store, Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres).
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for both frontend rendering and backend components running on cloud as well as on-prem.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) strategies.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools for the full stack.
