Operations Central Team - Application Development and Assistance (OCT ADS)
Our department focuses on improving Micron's manufacturing capability by encouraging innovation, accelerating the best ideas, and eliminating waste and inefficiency. We are a central organization driving improvement and excellence at Micron's global manufacturing sites. This includes developing software that enables senior leaders and engineers to make flawless decisions and apply standard methodologies without error.
We develop, deploy, and maintain applications that support our department's goals. We use agile methodologies, partner with other IT teams, and enjoy a safe, collaborative, and innovative work environment.
As a software developer on this team, you will build and provide support for primarily web-based and internal-facing applications.
Responsibilities Include

• Participate on an agile team of software developers, working as a team towards project requirements and schedules

• Use modern tools and frameworks

• Build, test, roll out, and provide support for software systems throughout Micron's international manufacturing facilities

• Develop web user interfaces using Angular

• Develop full-stack solutions using primarily Angular, C#, and SQL

• Expand your knowledge by learning new skills and tools

• This role requires working during the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and memory devices

• Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Ability to communicate effectively with global partners

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field of study

• Minimum 4 years of IT experience and 2 years in web development

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing user interfaces

• Experience developing web applications using JavaScript frameworks

• Experience with API development and consumption

• Experience using cloud frameworks, with Azure being most preferred

• Ideal language proficiency in C#, SQL, Angular, JavaScript

• Good to have: Custom programming experience with AutoCad , Revit , AutoDesk APIs
