Sr. Sitecore Developer

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop and design Sitecore-based solutions, ensuring high-quality technical and application architecture
• Define and create Sitecore templates and pages, including custom rules and personalization
• Customize Sitecore and its content API for integration with other applications
• Create and maintain Sitecore websites, ensuring scalable and performant deployment
• Adhere to best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation
• Participate in Agile development processes and ensure adherence to methodology
• Research and benchmark technologies to maintain best practices
• Influence and collaborate with multiple teams to enhance overall productivity and effectiveness

Technical Skills:

• Development and design experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and SQL
• Good knowledge of Helix architecture and Sitecore development
• Expertise in customization in Sitecore
• Experience with customization of Sitecore content API exposed to other applications
• Strong skills in creating Sitecore websites
• Experience in deployment and support on Sitecore scaled environments

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Engage in the development and design of Sitecore templates, pages, and customizations
• Work independently to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality Sitecore solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance
• Participate in Agile sprints, stand-ups, and review meetings
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding and security standards
• Research and implement new technologies and methodologies to stay current with industry trends

Qualification:

• Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• Certified Sitecore Developer

Education:

• Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of development and design experience in Sitecore
• Certified Sitecore Developer
• Good experience defining and creating templates and pages
• Experience with custom rules and personalization

Functional Skills:

• Experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech environments preferred
• Adherence to best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design across the organization
• Ability to research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies

Soft Skills:

• Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity and effectiveness
• Self-motivator and self-starter with the ability to own and drive tasks without supervision
• Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills for interaction and idea presentation to Senior and Executive management
