Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to:

• Keep Visa applications and systems up and running 24*7.
• Support critical applications and ensure the stability of the applications by performing proactive maintenance activities, engaging in automation activities, conducting root cause analysis and remediation.
• Work on product support processes such as incident/change/problem management, call triaging, and escalation procedures.
• Write and maintain scripts to monitor system activity including application smoke test activities during pre and postproduction implementations.
• Configure and troubleshoot software applications, systems, databases, and associated devices.
• Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Basic Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following skills:

• Two years of experience with Java, J2EE applications or .Net Core/.Net applications;
• Two years of experience in relational database usage with commercial-grade databases;
• Two years of experience managing applications running on different middleware stack (IIS, .NET, Java TcServer, Jboss, and Containers);
• Building tools to automate production support activities;
• REST and SOAP;
• Eclipse or similar IDE;
• NoSQL DB and MSSQL DB;
• Windows or Linux;
• Shell/Bash scripting or PowerShell;
• ISO 8583, ATM driving, or POS transactions;
• Maven/Ant and continuous integration tools; and
• Performance tuning and memory leak detection.

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $100,000.00 USD to $155,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
