Leidos is hiring a to support our ESA V program. ESA V is an IT applications and infrastructure services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ), including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The program provides a range of IT services, including software application support, enterprise infrastructure support, service desk, ITSM, deskside support, workstation engineering and maintenance, telecommunications and mobility engineering services, managed print services, Active Directory services, and video conferencing.
The program is expanding and adding a dedicated to support the ATF customer. The person hired for this position will provide SharePoint site and content support, as well as .NET software development support for custom applications. This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate and will focus on making sure that customers’ and users’ IT needs are met quickly and effectively. He or she will be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interface with customers and users, understand their needs and issues, and then be able to translate them into actions.
This position is 100% remote and requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; this position also offers the ability for significant virtual support. This position is contingent on receipt of required clearance from the Government customer.
Required Clearance: Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. US Citizenship is required. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer.
Primary Responsibilities
- SharePoint application development, site, and content support
- C#, ASP .NET and .NET Frameworks, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery
- SQL Server, Web Services, High-level coding
- Experience with support ticket management systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 12 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 10 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience with SharePoint design and development
- Expertise in developing and deploying custom Web parts, Workflows, Features, Site Content Types, Lists and Libraries, style sheets and site definitions using WSS, SharePoint Object Model and Visual Studio on multiple web applications
- Experience developing within the .NET framework
- Expertise in developing N-tier web applications using tools such as ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, AJAX, XML, ASMX Web Services, ADO.NET, SharePoint Server, IIS 7 and above, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience with SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition
- Agile development experience
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork skills and experience
- Customer interface experience
Preferred Qualifications
- SharePoint Online – PowerApps, Power Platform development experience
- Working knowledge of Active directory to store information about DNS
- Experience supporting cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with SharePoint migrations
