This position will be on-site reporting to our Bangalore office M-F.
This team provides 24/7 support. This role requires shift flexibility, including the ability to rotate between days, mids, and nights.
Optiv is seeking a Senior Services Enablement Specialist to join the Services Enablement & Education team and be a critical piece of our Agentic SOC workforce transformation: equipping people leaders across our services organization to verify employee skills with evidence-based rigor and to coach their teams through active upskilling and reskilling journeys.
This role carries the full scope of Senior-level responsibility: instructional design at an advanced level, behavior change and ROI measurement, AI-assisted content development, and mentorship of junior staff. What distinguishes this position is its audience. Rather than designing security awareness programs for external clients, this Senior Specialist designs and delivers the enablement curriculum for Optiv's own people leaders, who are responsible for coaching their direct reports on technical and durable skill development.
How you'll make an impact
- Design and deliver learning programs that equip people leaders to assess employee capabilities consistently, make evidence-based decisions, and support workforce development.
- Develop and facilitate workshops and resources that strengthen leaders’ ability to identify skill gaps and coach employees through upskilling and reskilling.
- Create high-quality, scalable learning content using modern instructional design methods, digital authoring tools, and responsible AI-assisted development practices.
- Establish measures to evaluate learning effectiveness, behavior change, and business impact, and communicate insights to program stakeholders.
- Partner with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor program outcomes, identify evolving capability needs, and continuously improve enablement solutions.
- Mentor Associate and Mid-Level Services Enablement staff, reviewing content and program design deliverables for quality and behavioral design soundness.
- Contribute to and help enforce team standards for AI-assisted content development quality gates.
- Maintain accurate program tracking, including milestone status and timeline risk reporting.
- Support calibration sessions and serve as a co-instructor or facilitator alongside regional champion cohorts as needed.
- Contribute to broader security awareness and client-facing education engagements as capacity allows.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Services Enablement & Education function.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, organizational psychology, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years in instructional design, eLearning development, or workforce training, with a demonstrated portfolio of complex, behavior-change-oriented programs.
- Prior experience advising or enabling people leaders or management audiences, not only individual learners.
- Prior mentorship or team leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise; working knowledge of an LMS platform such as Cornerstone.
- Expert fluency in AI-assisted authoring tools and the quality standards required for their responsible use.
- Familiarity with skills-based workforce frameworks (such as NIST NICE, WEF Future of Jobs, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Articulate Storyline and Rise advanced certification, ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or equivalent, and Kirkpatrick Four Levels certification are preferred.
