This role will be responsible for providing business partnership for APAC Sales Representatives to support execution of commercial business strategy and achievement of sales objectives.  Effective communication and training of new system functionality, improved business process and utilization of third-party sales resources to ensure efficient and effective user experience throughout the Lead to Order Fulfillment commercial workflow.  Support insights driven decision making by driving adoption of analytical resources into sales users’ daily operations.  Works closely with APAC Commercial Ops leadership to define optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure success of the Sales Organization.  The SR Operations Analyst will be an objective, fact-based voice in decisions impacting APAC’s Commercial Operations. This position is an internal position and requires minimal travel.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships and act as a business partner to APAC Sales Leadership
  • Collaborate with Global Commercial Ops to advocate for APAC regional needs and act as subject matter expert on system enhancement and process improvement projects on various programs such as CRM system, Quotas, Sales Ops Roadmaps, etc.
  • Develop and improve key processes to support integrity of commercial data required for business analysis.
  • Prepare advanced analyses to help identify and communicate trends and drivers to the business.
  • Partners with sales leaders and Global Comm Ops to execute administration of Territory Design (ETM) in SFDC
  • Align with other regional Sales Ops to share best practices, solve process issues, and to help stay functionally aligned
  • Coordinate and support Account and Territory planning as well as Customer Profiling regionally while aligning with Global on updates to the program
  • Partner with Regional Funnel team to support KPIs and processes aligned with Global Standards 
  • Drive adoption of commercial system and enablement tools for Sales through end user education, training and on-boarding.
  • Ensures CRM is the single source of truth pipeline development and account segment maintenance.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese is necessary for handling Japanese-language documentation and supporting interactions with the Japan Sales Team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with global stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in team settings, and work independently when required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Understands Go-To-Market strategy principles, utilization of key business metrics to enable data-driven decision making and key customer engagement processes.
  • Possess an open, flexible, and positive can-do attitude with good communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with multiple departments to execute mutually beneficial solutions. Experience dealing with difficult internal and external situations.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Successful track record in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, FP&A, or related commercial support role preferred
  • Familiarity with usage of software, particularly web-based software. Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com a plus.
