Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Buildings Business to be based at Pune, Maharastra.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Prepares sales plans, conducts regular performance reviews, and implements recovery actions to address potential order gaps while managing leads and opportunities through SFDC.
Ensures timely offer submission and conversion to orders, generating targeted sales volume and profitability through an effective sales process.
Manages timely collection of due payments and ensures closure of all sales-related liabilities.
Build and maintains strong customer relationships by understanding needs, promoting full product offerings, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications for the role:
Holds a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with technical grounding.
Possesses 8–10 years of overall sales experience, including 7–8 years specifically in low-voltage switchgear.
Demonstrates extensive handling of OEM customers, which is mandatory for the role.
Capable of facilitating business growth through strategic OEM engagement and opportunity development.
Ensures effective marketing activities and communicates clear value propositions to customers.
Adept at generating targeted sales volumes through comprehensive technical understanding and market insight.
Builds strong customer relationships and supports long-term business retention through solution-oriented sales.
