The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing key customer relationships within assigned territory. This role combines technical expertise, strategic account management, and strong interpersonal skills to identify new business opportunities, support existing customers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer-focused solutions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-driven, and capable of managing multiple engagements in a fast-paced, technology-oriented environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage tier-1 accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to identify, qualify, and pursue strategic customer opportunities.
  • Own customer forecasting activities, including purchase planning, demand tracking, and order status management on a global scale.
  • Develop and leverage strong business and technical relationships to drive revenue growth and long-term customer success within the region.
  • Actively network within the industry to expand market presence and establish partnerships with key stakeholders and technology partners.
  • Provide clear communication of customer requirements, market trends, and competitive insights to internal teams.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) with 5-10 yrs relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in a customer-facing role, ideally within technical sales, applications engineering, or account management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and build trust with diverse technical and business audiences.

Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $125,500 - $165,000. 
Actual pay will be determined on several factors such as relevant skills and experience, the pay of employees in the similar role etc.

Skills Required
