Job Description
QXO is seeking a Senior Risk / Claims Analyst to join our Risk Management team. In this role, you will partner closely with the General Insurance Risk Manager to support the administration of our Property & Casualty insurance program, oversee claims management activities, and help mitigate organizational risk across the business.

What You'll DoClaims Management & Investigation
- Assist in the day-to-day management of general liability, auto liability, and property claims.
- Partner with third-party administrators (TPAs), legal counsel, adjusters, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective claim resolution.
- Review claim activity, evaluate exposure, and support efforts to reduce overall claim costs.
- Assist with claim investigations, reporting, reserve reviews, and settlement recommendations.
- Monitor claim trends and remain current on laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to claims handling.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management, legal teams, and regulatory agencies.
- Analyze claims and risk data to identify trends, exposures, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop summaries, dashboards, and recommendations that support informed business decisions.
- Maintain accurate claim records and ensure timely communication of critical updates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key liaison between branch operations, TPAs, legal counsel, and insurance partners.
- Support Branch Managers with claim reporting, investigations, and resolution activities.
- Participate in claims reviews and strategy discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in communicating claim status and action plans to management and operational leaders.
Risk Management & Loss Prevention
- Help identify risks to the organization and support implementation of loss control initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety and loss prevention throughout the organization.
- Support compliance with insurance procedures and risk management practices.
- Assist with reserve management, action plan development, and ongoing claim monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in:
- Risk Management
- Insurance & Underwriting
- General Liability Claims
- Auto Liability Claims
- Property Claims Management
- Experience handling or adjusting insurance claims.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting risk management programs within a publicly traded organization.
- Knowledge of:
- Construction Defect Claims
- Additional Insured Tenders

- One or more of the following certifications/licenses:

Location: Daytona Beach, FL (Hybrid)
This role is based in Daytona Beach, FL. A hybrid schedule may be offered following onboarding and training, with a minimum of two days per week required in the office.

Compensation Range:
$75,300.00 - $113,100.00To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
