Your next career move starts here! As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue reporting. You will lead complex revenue processes, drive improvements, and mentor junior team members, all while collaborating across departments to support audits and compliance. What you will be doing:
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries for revenue accounts.
- Lead the preparation and review of recurring and non-standard revenue journal entries.
- Apply deep knowledge of revenue recognition principles to validate transactions.
- Extract and analyze data from reporting systems to ensure accuracy.
- Design and implement improvements to accounting procedures.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving variances.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to support audit and SOX requirements.
- Mentor and support junior accountants, fostering best practices.
What you will likely bring:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially in revenue recognition (ASC 606 preferred).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 4+ years’ experience in revenue accounting or related roles.
