Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategy Execution: Execute ITR technology strategy as defined by the Product Manager while providing senior-level input to executive management.
- Program Management: Lead NTI and NPI program execution, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and KPIs are met in accordance with established processes.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate ITR R&D team located at manufacturing site, acting as a mentor, coach, and trainer for junior engineering staff.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert support during the NPI development lifecycle, including oversight of CAD models, drawings, BOMs, test/production instructions, and quality standards.
- Project Delivery: Ensure all projects maintain competitive costs, meet on-time delivery targets, and comply with all internal ITR technical instructions and gate reviews.
- Technical Problem Solving: Leverage advanced expertise to resolve non-conformance issues, lead root-cause investigations, and provide solutions for complex technical requirements.
- IP and Innovation: Champion Intellectual Property generation across teams and proactively protect company assets and corporate image.
- External Representation: Represent the business in external technical committees (e.g., IEC, Cigre, IEEE) and at professional conferences.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide ad-hoc technical guidance to leadership, including support for customer negotiations, supplier audits, and cross-functional business development.
- Knowledge Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by disseminating "lessons learned" across the organization and supporting quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrotechnics, Physics, Chemistry.
- Experience in an ITR R&D environment
- Fluent in English
