Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and two (2) years of experience implementing continuous improvement methods within a manufacturing environment to enhance manufacturing quality and reliability.
  • Experience must include: Applying reliability engineering concepts and techniques for self-clean, non-self-clean and wall oven products within the home appliance industry.
  • Experience applying product and process parameters for internal manufacturing.
  • Leading Lean assembling, 5s, Six Sigma and Kaizen activities and tasks on multi-disciplinary groups for corrective and preventive action.
  • Utilizing engineering tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Standard Hours, Routings, Line Balancing, and Process Mapping to optimize flow and efficiency on production floor. 

 

Your role:

  • Responsible for planning and design of manufacturing processes for self-clean and non-self-clean wall oven products to improve existing methods and sustain product and operational cost reductions to the home appliance manufacturing facility.
  • Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards. Implement continuous improvement methods to enhance manufacturing quality and reliability.
  • Conduct new product review and feedback for improvements in manufacturability during the initial phases of design through implementation.
  • Analyze new processes and equipment with the intent of achieving continuous improvement of present methods.
  • Apply Statistical methods using data from SQL, Power BI and Electrolux systems to determine manufacturing processes and design methods.
  • Analyze statistical data using various software including Microsoft Access and Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, SQL, Power BI and Electrolux systems to find issues regarding the purchases, manufacturing capabilities, inspection procedures.
  • Lead Lean assembling, 5s, Six Sigma and Kaizen activities and tasks on multi-disciplinary groups for corrective and preventive action.
  • Utilize Value Stream Mapping, Standard Hours, Routings, Line Balancing, and Process Mapping engineering tools to optimize flow and efficiency on production floor.
  • Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.
  • Apply product parameters and process parameters for internal.
  • Deduce the design forecast and predict their KPI metrics depending on the similar existing models in the market in the pre-production phase.
  • Lead the Quality team in the assigned areas for the development of wall oven products.
  • Schedule deliveries based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.
  • Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment and engineering drawings to formulate corrective action plan.
  • Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective or damaged parts and assess cost and responsibility.
  • Coordinate and implement quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
  • Align customer specifications and requirements into the continuous improvement Quality plan for improving design requirements.
  • Formulate sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
  • Collect and analyze consumers feedback based on the data from Company Quality reporting systems to understand quality performance with respect to production, and design.
